A little about us.
Nigel Wright, head chef, trained under Michael Walmsley (formerly of Lucknam Park, Manoir and Claridges).
He then went on to run his own kitchen at The Rose and Thistle in Rockbourne where his food was well-renowned for being creative and delicious.
Kerry and Nigel recently travelled the world for a year, exploring differing cuisines, which has had a great influence on their ideas.
When they returned to the UK they decided to move to Devon. They have taken over the reins of 'Saveur' a successful restaurant, which used to offer classic French cuisine. Nigel hopes to develop the kitchen and bring the menu up to date, still with a European influence but an added modern twist.
